Select Price Form

Hello,

I have a form in which you can select your price. I managed to randomize the selection. But I have no idea how to hide the prizes until the user selected a button. I can't use javascript because the user can view the source.

PHP (as in ASP) is server-side code and cannot interact with the client directly. Once the script has run it is done and the result is HTML output to the browser. You would have to send the "click" to a processing page (or to itself and a process routine on submit) to produce the new output.

if you dont mind a little piece of javascript, just assign an id to the form element and then assign the below actions (you might need to correct the trigger though, onSelect maybe?)

onClick="document.getElementById('idofelement').style.visibility='visible';"

onClick="document.getElementById('idofelement').style.visibility='hidden';"

It works, but it hides everything including the whole button.

odd... this works perfectly for me... make sure the id does not corresponds to sth else (you might have assigned the id to the form tag instead)... thats all i can think of right now.. (you have an id assigned to the element you want to hide, right?)

The id was assigned to the button. So, it hides the whole button.
