Ah, help, hurry

I put a mail() function in the wrong place (forgot the conditional) in a loop that was nested inside a lot of other loops....consequently sending myself over 14,000 emails so far. I've stopped the script and closed the window and everything.

How can I kill this??? I have shell access. But other people are running programs too on the server that I don't know about, so I can't just restart. Any advice?

Firstly you can have a more descriptive thread title in future 😉

Secondly why dont you show us some code. Or if its that much of a problem take the script down.

There's really no code to show, just

The script is done running - it's already done its damage. I just think the server has a ton of mail commands queued up, and it's dumping them in my inbox as quickly as possible. I was wondering if there's anyway to tell the server to stop sending me all this mail.

If I did (I can sudo) what would I do?
