Hi,

Can you control the color of input element in a form which is actually a submit button? It turns it to grayish. The CSS can't control it at all.

This actually happens whenever you disabled a buttons. I mean the text of the buttons.

No, because the browser actually ignores most CSS atribute definitions and dictates the "disabled" status of the control... If it's a matter of keeping people from changing a form element's value, certain elements will allow you to define a read-only attribute.

Can you change submit button to read only status? How do you do this?

Sorry, I missed that you were referring to the submit button... That is one element that doesn't support the read-only attribute.
