Version questions

Hi all,

If my site is built on PHP version 4.12, MySQL 3.23 and Apache 1.3.

What problems may occur if I upgrade to:

PHP version 4.33, MySQL 4.014 and Apache 2.04.

Will I have any compatibility problems. Obviously testing will be needed, but anything you guys know that I might that maybe some of you may have encountered?

If you're using code from php.net manuals, you should be clear. Normally if it's for PHP 4 then it's completely for PHP 4, not sub-versions. These major sub versions are basically fixes in the software(s).

I'm not sure what the reason is to upgrade to PHP "4.33" when the latest of the 4.x series is 4.3.8

In addition to AndrewWest's advice, you should take a look at the changelogs for each product. That should quell most of your concerns.
