PHP5 - No MySQL

Well, I installed the new version of PHP, but I have no MySQL support at all. Neither MySQL nor MySQLi works, and the system claims both don't exist, even though I can see the .dll files in the folder I pointed it to. Obviously, PHP is useless without MySQL, so what the hell is going on?

Okay, I found the problem. Now both MySQL and MySQLi are showing up in phpinfo(). MySQL works, but MySQLi gives me this error whenever I use connect:

Fatal error: Trying to clone an uncloneable object of class mysqli in d:\Programs\Apache\Apache\htdocs\dbmytest.php on line 2
