Problems with multiple sessions

Hallo,

First my remote server is not first quality...

I have problems with using multiple session's. I think there is some rare configuration on the remote server done by the ISP.

session.use_trans_sid = off

and they use a

session.cookie_lifetime = 3600

for the sessions on the first page i use a manual value for the PHPSESSID (after the session_start().

If i use sessions on other pages they will not work. I'm not 100% sure but i think this problem don't exists in IE 6.0.

Anyone some advice?

are you in fact starting 2 separate sessions (by calling session_name())?

in my first page i use 2 sessions
like:

$_SESSION['count'] = $x; 
		$_SESSION['viewed'][$x] = $sel_number;

and in another page one other like:

$_SESSION['check_vote'] = "yes";

you are not creating 2 sessions, you are simply adding multiple variables to one single session. are you calling [man]session_start[/man] at the top of each page?

Yes, I use session_start() at the beginning. I understand that $_SESSION is a kind of superarray. I can use the different pages on my local server without problems and also on other servers.

Its only on my own page. If you like check phpinfo.php in the root.
