URL Encryption and Decryption

Hi, I encrypt the variables in a url to pass it to the next page. Now, I'm getting page not found. Am I missing something? Here is how it looks like below:

http://www.emeasureit.com/automobile/deleteRecord.php?tableName=G0á3lKií¥Iôª&objectiveId=O&empId=M&

Does it need to be set in the URL if not set it in a SESSION

oh. Is that the usual way? I have seen many sites that use encryptions from the url.
