bcsub is undefined in Linux installation

Hello

I've been using my application without any problem under a Windows installation of PHP.

I have now moved to use a Linux server and I get an error message saying that the function bcsub is undefined.

What could cause this?
I was under the impression that this functon is part of the PHP core language and not part of some extension or module.

Hi,

since php 4.0.4 bcmath is bundled with php but php has to be compiled with --enable-bcmath in order to enable the bcmath functions.

I guess, that php has to be recompiled in order to enable the bcmath functions.
