Making script template-driven?

I want to create my script to be very customizable by easily creating new templates... Although, I ahven't really made scripts that revolve around templates before.

Does anyone have suggestions or good resources for a good way to make scripts that can easily be changed through the use of templates?

I find it a bit hard to explain, but hopefully you understand and can offer input.

There is no set way to create templates or code them, which basically means there is really no set tutorial for them. However i think http://devshed.com have one and same with here you may want to check that out.

Also a good search of the forums should help you out.
