I just got a call from a youth minister at a local church who wants a script to send out email from a list of "subscribers".
Our school has something similar to what he's wanting. However, I think it's done in (ARG!) ASP, so I don't want to go near it. To subscribe to the school news, you have to send an email to a supplied address in a very specific format to get added to the list. It took me 3 tries to get subscribed so I wrote a php script to send it the email request in the proper format.
Anyway, I digress, this guy wants me to either write or find an already written script so that he can compose his email and send it out to everyone. I could probaby do it pretty quickly, but am pretty busy trying with life to figure out where to start.
Does anyone out there have any ideas or suggestions on either where I should start or who has a good one already written?
I told him for me to write it, I would need him to have PHP and mySQL access.
