Link problems - Result of PHP or CSS?

I have a test website setup and the links are not acting as they are supposed to which is set in a CSS file. I'm not sure if my PHP code has anything to do with this or if it's just the CSS file. Can anyone help, please?

Sorry to be sounding rude but no one here is a mind reader unless i have been greatly uninformed. What seems to be the error? i cannot see anything that is wrong.

The links should not be the standard blue with an underline. They should be a gray color and then change colors when you hover over them. I'm using IE 6 and it's displaying the standard blue with underline links. Sorry, I should have been more descriptive. Thanks. 🙂

It's probably in the css, because the HTML itself looks fine. Got any sample code to post?

Remove the style tags from your css file.

Thanks! The CSS was originally in my file until I moved it to its own file. I forgot to take it out but I didn't realize it would cause problems like that. Why does it do that? Thanks again. 🙂

Probably because of the embedding it's doing. If read, it's looking at
<link rel="<style tag> </style>/end link>
