Retrieve image from network

Hi,

I need to retrieve an image which is updated regularly (from a webcam) across the network and display it on the web, which is hosted in-house.

I'm using Abyss Web Server on a computer named VOLUME
The webcam photo is on network path \BASS\webcam\now.jpg

How do I retrieve the file across the network to display on the public WWW?

I found this in the PHP manual - Streams:
http://php.us.themoes.org/manual/en/ref.stream.php

Is this right? If so, could someone write an example (I have no experience with PHP at all!)

on your public www html page you can just do this:

<img src="webcam.php">

****webcam.php*******

<?php

$data = file_get_contents("\\\BASS\\webcam\\now.jpg");

header("Content-type: image/jpeg");

echo $data;

?>

that should work.
