php file reading

ok i have this browser upload system for users and i want it so that when they upload something, my other page will be updated(flash page) and will show a link to that file without me having to manually add it to the list.Any ideas thank ya much i am very new to php thanks again

Well how are you implementing this? Are you using Flash as the frontend to upload the file If so you can probably do some refresh or something like that and use the ActionScript funtion that allows interaction with PHP to gather the fileupload information.

ya i made a page that finds all the file names and turns them into links and writes them to a txt file, i think i might be able to get it now thanks for the help
