Hi all,

When we load the form through browser, the contents are seen with set font and size. In the IE, there is option of "text size" under view menu. If the size is changed, then the form contents on the screen are disturbed.

Can we supress this "resize" effect, thorugh PHP?

if you use stylesheets and assign a size to your text styles in points or pixels, i believe the text will not get resized. another way is inline styles like this:

<SPAN style="font-size:12px;">This text shouldn't resize</SPAN>

IE does not seem to have too many options over text size control, but other browsers do.

Any text size you set could in principle be overridden by the browser. Some browsers have a "zoom" facility, or text zoom, which makes all text bigger regardless of what sizes the author has set it.

This is sensible because some designers use silly small fonts.

PHP is server-side, so clearly it's not what you'll be using.
As described above, you could use CSS, but that's not very good. Fixed font sizes tend to suck.

Take for example MSN.com. It's got that little microscopic font for everything. No one with normal humans should be able to read that with ease.
Thankfully, you can resize it.

Anyone in their right mind will consider fixed font sizes very unprofessional, so I strongly advise you change your tactic.

After all, perhaps your users have a reason for wanting the text to be a different size....
