Hey there guys...
im building a site in php but i am unable to get a database of any sort - due to the clients budget and other server issues. however i would like for the client to be able to change the content of specific pages from a form. hence having to store information in text files... urgh!
when reading and editing files, how is it possible to associate a string or other information with a specific marker in the text file? for example...
the text file might read...
id: 1
name: paul
age: 93
title: old guy
how can I extract the information for each record just from the id (or any other hypothetical variable)?
