HELP!
i'm running a chatroom inside a fantasy sports "draft", so i need to do refreshes on multiple frames for multiple database.tables.
here's what goes on: in top frame (half) of page, there are two frames (columns). on the left is a list of the 12 participants in the league ranked in draft order. on the right is the "select player to draft" part.
on the bottom half of the page is a live chat room for the 12 teams to chat during the draft. after a player is drafted and the info put into a database.table, the chatroom will list the draft pick performed.
I've done two days work of searching and countless hours of programming and I've hit a snag. right now, the frames refresh on a 3 second schedule, which looks fine in Mozilla (which I use) b/c the frames don't go blank while they refresh.
BUT, in internet explorer, when the frames refresh, they go white for a split second. it's crazy-looking! It'd make anyone have a seizure!
Please help! Why does it only look good in mozilla? what can i do to change this?
and please don't suggest that i ask my leagues to all switch to mozilla! :-)
