title bar in new window

hi,

   i'm using a popup window to show a calender using php & javascript to select dates.

I'm using javascriptIt opens in a new window. What I want to do now is to hide the title bar of the newly opend window. i've made all the other bars(menubar, toobar etc., invisible) But i'm not able to hide the title bar..C

Can anyone pls help me to solve this??

This isnt exactly a PHP Topic. To be honest i dont think its possible to actual hide the title Bar.

Let's see if we can get this straight. I'll draw you a little diagram:

PHP runs on your server. In this diagram, it's the little box that says "DELL."
The client is the shiny box that says "COMMODORE 64." Top of the line equipment. This is where popups and javascript exist. They have nothing to do with the server.
There is a big wall between them. It can range from several inches to several thousand miles (for ye non-Americans: several centimeters to several thousand kilometers).

One thing to keep in mind is if you hide the title bar, you need to remember to provide a means by which the user can close the window. Not everyone knows that ALT+F4 will close a window on a WinBox. In fact, most "end-users" don't know that.

Dynamicdrive.com has a DHTML script called Chromeless Window that you may be able to utilize...

It's a good reminder. Or Maybe you make sure you did something like this in the pop up.

at the bottom of the page, ort somewhere visible.
