Dynamic linked list boxes?

I dont know much javascript..but this is what Im running against.

I have two tables in a mysql database.

1). car makes [car_makes_id, car_make]

2). car models [car_models_id, car_makes_id, car_model]

I have a list box that dynamically fills the car makes table. I have another listbox on same page that I want populated with the models based on the car makes selection. e.g. if i pick acura, it should come up with all the acura models from the car model table. Now I can do it on seperate pages but linking the two list boxes is becoming a lil bit of a problem.

The javascript is all there on the page you refer to, although I'd sure take a look at the two articles they mention as being more "elegant" ...

As for the PHP, it would do about the same thing that the ASP page/code they have does. You'll need an array of models by each manufacturer, available in the document source for the Javascript to play around with.....
