Website Membership and Invisionboard

Hi

I'm thinking of making my website more interactive my letting them add comments etc. So I've decided to introduce some kind of membership system where people can sign in and from there make comments etc. Currently, I have invision board installed on my website so I was thinking of just using the registration data from the forum to allow those users to access parts of the website.

However, I'm unsure of how I to keep users signed in once they've logged in from some part of the website. I'd imagine you'd use a cookie, but I'm unsure of how to do this...? Thanks.

I expect they are using a session var to keep the user logged in. Follow the code in the login page(s) and look for it then check that session var on the pages you only want authenticated users to visit.
