Multiple File Uploads

Hello folks. Having seen some quite ingenious ways of handling multiple uploads among these threads, I'm thinking there must be a smoother way of browsing, selecting and moving the files. Not FTP style, but something that looks like win explorer?

Some of you must have wondered about this at least 10 times!

What we need to do is:

• browse only once per 'upload'
  -select multiple files using control/shift etc
  -copy them with a submit button
  -save them into a specified path/directory.

Any clues other than what's gone before would be most welcome.

unfortunately the way the internet file upload dialog is programmed, doesnt allow for multiple selects. you need to use individual fields for each file you want uploaded, meaning they will need to browse for every file individually.
