Im wondering why i see these cubes in the text input in Netscape? Internet Explorer doesnt show there strange cubes but Netscape does??
I simply collect info from my db and show it in the field...
Where did you get the text from initially? They're microsoft specific characters. Being the ever helpfull company that they are Microsoft sometimes use custom non-ascii characters for certain symbols. This can cause problems when you cut and paste them into other applications/O/Ss.
The text was a cryptated string that i had to uncrypt and then display it... im using mcrypt in the script...
It could be that you're not decrypting properly.
Still, you might find a hex editor such as xvi32 handy in these sort of situations.
