MySQL default username ?

Hej,

I've got a server (raq550) with a clean new installation. Unix, PHP and MySQL are installed.

Now I want to connect with MySQL, but what is the default username/password? "root" does not work. I get this message:
#2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

Please help,

Make sure the socket file exists in that location. If it does not, and you find it elsewhere (perhaps /tmp), edit php.ini to refer to the proper location.
