[Resolved] [Resolved] setting GRASS-GIS environment variables in PHP

I am currently running php on a Mac osX server with php 4.6.3. I also have GRASS-GIS installed and am trying to run it with php. It should work using "system" grass calls, but I have to set some grass environmet variables. I am pretty much a newbie with all of this, so I have no clue how to do this. Can anyone offer some help. I would very much appreciate it.

I used putenv() to do this and it works great. The main thing to keep in mind is that the browser has to have the proper username and permissions which is a different username than the Grass terminal.
