script wanted: database table 2 xml 2 database table

Hi folks!

I am looking for a script that outputs all the records of a database table to xml and also the other way around (use generated xml to create records in the slpecified table).

I would need this to transfer data between various instances of an application.

It seems to me that this should be a very comon problem. (i did use the search function)
