I need to install PHP 4.3.8 (tar.gz) [4,719Kb] - 13 July 2004 OR PHP 5.0.1 (tar.bz2) [4,463Kb] - 12 Aug 2004 and Binary gcc-2.95.3-pkg.zip Solaris 8 SPARC box How do I determine how much space I should ask to be allocated for this installation ? what would be a good number ? And why ?
I will be using PHP 4 along with Apache 1.3.9 and and MySQL 4.0.20-standard on the Sun box
Currently I'm using PHP 4 and Apache on 1.3.26 on a Win2k box with MySQL on the Sun box I now need to move PHP over to the Sun box and "integrate" it with the Apache 1.3.9 server thats already on the Sun box. (rebuilding Apache isn't an option)
I need to at least tell the Administrator a "number" !
