Is there a way to tell the people visiting my site whether or not I am online on AIM?

google for "php aim get status", as a result you get e.g.

www.thoughtanomalies.com

I didn't test it should be possible to do this.

I got it to work for text files, but when I used images in that little script it gave me a bunch of weird characters in my page.

Text is fine. Besides, I think i can work around it by putting the <img src=on.bmp> in the text file.

i DID google it. I couldn't find it.

Eventually I asked one of my sister's boyfriends and he showed me a neat little doodad... its where you give a yahoo page some parameters and it returns either "(name) is ONLINE" or (name) is NOT ONLINE"

I used that to work it. Really cool system.
