uploading files...

can anybody tell me the concepts and or functions and such that i would need to look up in order to allow users to log onto my webpage and upload pictures or files....

hints about what to stay away from forthe sake of security?
hits about the most efficient way to go about it?
so on and so forth... just any ideas, concepts, concerns that i need to have concerning file uploading...

i think that the manual page on file uploads does a pretty good job of explaining everything. it even has some example code.

what he said :-) the security stuff is pretty much handled, esp long as you use move_uploaded_file() or is_uploaded_file().
