Regular Expression

Could someone help me figure out how to do the regular expression for every character except for ] ?

what im doing is trying to replace someting like

[tag:some title]some content[/tag]

but when i have mutliples of those on a page it replaces only the first and last

but if can make it like ([^]].*) or something like that for the closing ] on the first tag, that would fix it.
