installed php5 but mysql not supported

i just install my php5 with apache 1.3.31 and copy the php5dts on the windows directory and assign the loadmodule and mod.c in apache restart my apache work fine..

but i tried to access phpMyAdmin and it is not working

i open the phpinfo() and i dont see any support in mysql what should i do?

by the way im using windows not linux
please help me with this.

Hi,

you need to enable the MySQL extension in php.ini. There should be a line like extension=php_mysql.dll. Uncomment that line. Additionally, copy the files libmysql*.dll to the system32 folder.
Then restart the web server.

php_mysql.dll does not exist. I've done a system wide file search for this file and not a damn thing.

davy, if you installed php on a Windows box using the *.exe installer, than the extension modules aren't there. The extenaions modules are only in the zipped binaries.
