I am developing an online catalogue, where product images are uploaded from an admin area (much like a CMS).
I have managed to resize images on the server after they are uploaded using the GD extension, but the image quality is really poor - see http://www.sugaonline.com/newimage.jpg. The image is in it's original proportions, so that isnt the reason.
Is there a way that I can improve the image quality without user intervention (i.e. php does it on the fly)?
