One page if logged in, another if not.

Is it possible so the if a user selects a link on my site it will check whether they are logged into my phpbb forum & if so, it displays one page & if not, it displays another page.

Could this be achived via the link code (macromedia flash menu) or could it be coded into the php page, i.e. display one part if logged in, and another part if not.

What would the code be? Thanks in advance.

Sure, there is a php function for this called header. This redirects the user to a specified URL, which could be another one of your pages.
For example:

if (!isset($session)
{
  header("Location: http://phpbb.net/loggedout.php");
else
{
  header("Location: http://phpbb.net/loggedin.php");
}

Basically I have given you a function which checks to see whether some variable is set, if it is set the user is redirected to the loggedin.php otherwise they are redirected to loggedout.php.

I don't know how you log people in on your forum so I can't tell you how to use the variable.

If you have some php pages already then just add this as a function where and when you require the logged in check.
Enclose the statement with:
function log_check()
{
if ...
}
You need to work out the correct if statement for yourself.
