Do you guyz know where I can find a tutorial about email validation?
Basically when a user registers, I want the system to send him an email containing a link they have to follow.

One suggestion: I would read through a couple of tutorials that use different techniques before you start hacking. There are several ways to accomplish what you are after one some of those ways might fit into the rest of what you want to do with your site better than others.
