Is there a way I can find out from what page someone has come to my site?

Thanks for the reply. Since this variable cannot be relied upon, does that mean that if i want to count how many times someone has clicked to my site from an ad i have on another site, i should append the url with a variable then? or is there another way?

You can do this one of two ways, reliably.

The fist is what you mentioned

The second is to send them to a script you wrote for this purpose which counts them then redirects to your main page.
