phpMyAdmin and automatically add #!/usr/local/bin/php

My host requires that every php-file starts with
#!/usr/local/bin/php
is there a phpMyAdmin-version that automatically
adds this line to the right files, or is there a better
way to add the lines than manually?

Why on earth would your host require that?

Anyway, there is a php solution you can employ. Just loop through the directories([man]opendir[/man] and [man]readdir[/man] (look in user comments for a recursive solution)) in question and [man]file_get_contents[/man] for each file, then [man]fopen[/man] in write mode(w+ would be good here to truncate the file), [man]fwrite[/man] your shebang line, fwrite the contents of the file, then [man]fclose[/man] the file.

Probably sounds more complicated than it really is, but it should be a fairly small script.

They are requiring that because of some security reason.

Wouldn't your suggestion add the line #!/usr/local/bin/php to all files? The problem is that I don't know what php-files to add the line #!/usr/local/bin/php to, adding the line to all php-files gives error messages.

It depends how you script it. If you only want to add it to certain files, then just add it. If you wanted to add it to all php files, you'd do a check for the file extension in your readdir loop and add it based on it matching the .php extension.
