Calling script.php easy?

Hello,

Just wondering how I can call on a page script.php to run when a link (any link) is clicked on lets say index.php?

If possible, can this be done by not adding anything to the linkurl?

if you're on appache then you could use .htaccess with some modrewrite rules

But what happens if you dont have apache.... then the problem starts all over again...any other ideas on how to track the links???

so far as I know all web servers keep an access log. That'll keep the information for you.

Yes, but different servers got different rules for where they keep the file and so on. Is it not just possible to create my own log file using php? That way i will always know where it is for all the sites involved?

Problemo is that im not sure how to make a log_script that makes a log file 🙂 Any ideas?
