PHP to .txt file

Hi,
I have searched around a bit for the answer tot his question and havent quite found the right solutuion. It seems fairly ismple though. I want to create a web interface for myself to enter information in, like a blog, that will post that info into a .txt file thay will then be called by actionascript on my Flash website.Can anyone help?

The page doesnt have to be pretty, it'll just be for me. I am worried, though, that even when I find it that the file will be written over everytime I update it, but inside that text file I will still need a line that says something like
text=contents from php page
In order for my Actionscript to call it.
So is there a way to post the data without losing that line of Actionscript and have it update dynamically? Any help would be great appreciated.

Well, what you could do is call a PHP script from Flash, and have the PHP script output as a text file. And in the PHP script, echo the line that stays the same, and then the contents of the dynamic file.

wow, that sounds good but I have NO idea how thats done. I am very new to PHP. Can you help?
