Stripping and saving mail attachments

Hi all,
I've been a little bit out of the PHP game for a while, so I'm looking for some guidence. I want to write a script that checks a specified email account and processes messesges sent to the account, storing:

a) the sender's email address and
b) any picture attachements sent with the message.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. I imagine the that script would run off a cron in 15 to 20 minute intervals.

Hi,

PEAR includes classes that might do the trick:

POP3
Mail_Mime

Use the POP3 class(es) to fetch the mail and Mail_Mime to decode the mail.
