prorating php question

Lets say i have a total of 100

$total == 100;

Now i want to devide the total by the number of days in the month and then times it by the ammount of days left.

So if its the 5th of september i want it to do this.

100 / 30 = 3.33333 * 25 = 85.3
Also how would i round up the final result to 86

Any ideas?

Sorry, didn't look at the number very closely and gave you round() first. This is what you want.

The same way as you learned in school? Or do you mean the [man]date[/man] calculations?
