JOIN Question

I am having trouble figuring out how to do the folowing join. I have the following tables.

STANDINGS

Team
Wins
Losses

RANKINGS

Team
Rank
Points
Previous

The STANDINGS table has 10 teams, but the RANKINGS table only has 3. I want to be able to pull out the Rank,Points, and Previous of the 3 teams from RANKINGS and join it on the STANDINGS table. But I still want to get the other 7 teams that are not in the RANKINGS table.

If I need to make myself more clear please ask and I will try. Any help on this would be greatly apprecaited.

SELECT Standings.Team, Standings.Wins, Standings.Losses, Rankings.Rank, Rankings.Points, Rankings.Previous FROM Standings, Rankings WHERE Standings.Team=Rankings.Team;

That should pull everything and just leave the unfilled fields blank (I believe).

Use a LEFT JOIN, the unranked teams will have NULL in the Rankings.* fields

SELECT Standings.Team, Standings.Wins, Standings.Losses,
Rankings.Rank, Rankings.Points, Rankings.Previous 
FROM Standings
LEFT JOIN Rankings 
ON Standings.Team=Rankings.Team;
