[Resolved] [Resolved] Interesting SQL problem involving dates

I have a datetime column in my db. I have records that include the following:

2004-09-25 13:00:00
2004-09-25 13:00:00
2004-09-25 15:00:00
2004-10-02 13:00:00
2004-10-02 14:00:00
2004-10-09 11:30:00
2004-10-09 15:30:00
etc...

What I am trying to figure out is how to create a drop-down box to show the unique dates, but not the unique times.

So, my drop down for the above example would show the following:
2004-09-25
2004-10-02
2004-10-09

Any ideas? Obviously a distinct clause will not work...

This is how I resolved it:

$sqldate = "SELECT DISTINCT date FROM table ORDER BY date ASC";
$rs = $db->Execute($sqldate);
while (!$rs->EOF) {
	$a = explode(" ",$rs->fields[0]);
	$thisarr[] = $a[0];
	$rs->MoveNext();
}
$thisarr = array_unique($thisarr);
foreach ($thisarr as $value) {
   print $value."<br />";
}

This gave me the list I was looking for. The array_unique function was the key.

The SQL interactions may look funky because I am using the ADODB library.
