Form checkboxex problem?!

HOY!

print_r($_POST);

It prints onley checked checboxex. If there isn,t any checked it prints nothing!

So i can,t validate it if there is no one checked!

If you know what you have placed in the form... is (!isset($_POST['checkbox']))

So if it isn't set - do something... else you know it has been ticked...

OR you could use JS on the client side....

I have a form with a lot of checkboxex.
At least one should be chacked!
If user diselect all it,s not right.
So I want to validate this form.

print_r($_POST); should print all the posted variable also if they are empty.
Well there is no sound of my checkboxex except they are checked.

I hope there is some eazy way to check this.

Here's where The Chancer's suggestion comes in.

well, if it,s checked is also set.
If it,s no checkd it,s no set.

so if all 100hundred check boxex isnot set(checked), i print hey dude at least one checkbox should be chechked🙂

all the rest posted variables are nicley in the $_POST array also if they re empty...

your code suggests that all of the checkboxes are named "box" followed by a number (box1, box2, box3, etc...). if this is the case and no other fields has the word "box" in them then this would work:

$box = false;

foreach ($_POST as $key => $value)
{
	if (strstr($key, 'box')) {$box = true; break;}
}

if ($box) {echo 'at least 1 checkbox was chacked';}
else {echo 'no checkboxes were checked';}

Unless you have JS involved, name your checkboxes "box[]"

Then $POST['box'] would be the array of checked checkboxed, numerically indexed.
If none of the checkboxes are checked, $POST['box'] would itself not be set.
