Copying HTML from a document to another document

It has not gotten any replies (other than mine). Is it a bad question? Is it a stupid question? Is the answer in the documentation? Is it not a bug? Is there a solution I should use instead of what I have?

not sure. what is a DOMDocument? i haven't seen that in PHP before. do you have the class definition anywhere?

See PHP: DOM Functions - Manual. I am nearly certain it is not available in PHP 4 and before; it requires PHP 5. DOM is a standard interface to HTML and XML.

I will probably need to get someone that is familiar with DOM to help me. I think there is a bug in the PHP DOM code and therefore it probably needs the attention of a PHP developer. I am just not sure what route to take to get someone's attention.

I have also posted in another web site's forum and hopefully they can help. I avoid posting more than once at the same time and have done it only a few times at most.
