In shopping cart application, I want to ask which strategy is best.
When a buyer adds an item to shopping cart ,should that be visible to other buyers. because it is not necessary that every buyer who adds item to shopping cart will purchase that , may be at the end he would left the site with out buying any thing, and if the item will be removed from display, a person who is a serious buyer can miss the chance of buying that particular item. Although it will be available again when that person's session will expire.
If we don't remove the item from display even after it has been added to the carts. But it can create a conflict and confusion at the end. The buyer who will check out first will get that item and any other if he is a serious buyer will face frustration, that he will not get the item even after adding it to his shopping cart.
can any one tell me a new strategy about this issue?
