Pesky PHP Warning.

I keep getting this warning, which comes and goes on various pages, while running PHP 4.3.6 :

Warning: Unknown(): Your script possibly relies on a session side-effect which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this warning by setting session.bug_compat_42 or session.bug_compat_warn to off, respectively. in Unknown on line 0

I've set these three lines in my php.ini file as :

register_globals = off
session.bug_compat_42 = off
session.bug_compat_warn = off

But the warning won't go away. Any suggestions out there?

Hmm, "setting" one var probably means setting it to ON; the wording is confusing.

Either way, you should restart the webserver after any changes. Did you do that?

Yep. But the warning is still there.

I'll try setting the two message vars to on. Who knows, they may have it bassackwards.

I'd try only the following:


register_globals = off 
session.bug_compat_warn = off

And

session.bug_compat_warn = off

I'm still getting the warning. This is really stupid since I have register_globals = off. You would think that Apache Server would recognize this and dispense with the warning.
