Tree/Sort Help

I am looking for aid with the following:

I have a table with the following info:
ID Title Parent
1 cat1 0
2 cat2 3
3 cat3 1
4 cat4 1
5 cat5 0
6 cat6 4

I want my result to echo out something like:

aux1 = cat1
aux2 = cat3
aux3 = cat2
aux2 = cat4
aux3 = cat6
aux1 = cat5

Any aid would be super appreciated.

How would you anticipate those results from the table structure you gave? You gotta give MUCH MUCH MORE detailed info pertaining to the help you desire.

I am using mysql to return the table above into an array... then I want to sort it so I can display the cateogries into a tree.

Another Example:

ID Title Parent
1 Music 0
2 Rock 1
3 Lectures 0
4 Astro Physics 3
5 Country 1
6 Aerosmith 2

It should then short through my array and return
Music
Music>Rock
Music>Rock>Aerosmith
Music>Country
Lectures
Lectures>Astro Physics

Sorry, yes, that makes much more sense now... I missed the whole parent/child thing initially with the use of cat and aux...
