executing java servlet with php.

Hi ..

i have trouble figuring out how to tricker a java servlet with php.

i want to start the servlet and then leave continue with my script
not waiting for the servlet to finish...

The call to the servler is a standard http request.

i've tried with fopen. but the script then waits for the servlet
to end.. which couldt mean up too 60 mb of data... beeing genereated...

any suggestions.... PLEASE..
