I found a javascript way to output a date in Hebrew, but the amount of code it takes is huge, and I'd rather not use javascript anyway. You guys have any idea how to output the date of the Hebrew calendar?
If you are using PHP 5, then the [man]jdtojewish[/man] function has a hebrew parameter...
Thanks, but any PHP 4 suggestions?
No. I don't personally have a need for a Hebrew date. Sorry...
Well, looking at the page TheDefender linked to, it seems as though jdtojewish has been around since PHP3.
Yeah weed, but the hebrew flag wasn't added until PHP5.

Yah, but that's for formatting with the Hebrew character set. As far as I can see what is being asked for are dates in the Hebrew calendar - does 13/29/5764 qualify? (And tomorrow it's apparently 1/1/5765: Happy New Year!)
LOL weed, I don't even know what a date outputted in Hebrew would look like anyhow.
Haha yeah, weedpacket's got a point. It looks like I can do it that way after all. And then I can just put together an array with the names of the months.
And yeah, it's Rosh Ha'Shanah, the Jewish new year, so thanks =)
I don't think you'd even need to do that... [man]jdmonthname[/man] looks like what you are looking for.
