[Resolved] paginate - few more questions

i am using a form to post the results of the search to be paginted to the appropriate page, however the first page specifies the actual results as desired yet the links to pages above 1 are all returning to the beginning of a search equivalent to an empty form search - in this case defaulting on a full search - as if the posted information isn't available to the consequent pages - any ideas??

It's threads like this that hinder the development of the forums' knowledge base. No-one learns anything from this one, except that one person solved a problem. Maybe it was the same problem someone else was having and searching for a solution for. Sorry to disappoint them, but they won't get any ideas for things to check here.
