[Resolved] Float Numbers Form Validation

Does anybody have an expression for form valiation to validate float numbers. It is decimal. You can use with or without comma.

Strip out any commas and see if what's left is_numeric.

How about the commas for every three digits?

Step 1) create a temp variable that does not have the commas in it [man]str_replace[/man]

Step 2) test your temp variable with [man]is_numeric[/man]

Step 3) If the temp variable validates so does your original variable.

Step 4) Take a course in criritcal analysis.
