I was ready to report this web site bug below to :
http://bugs.php.net/search.php
when I noticed they told another user that this is not their problem, to direct the issue to phpbuilder.com.
Here is my original bug report :
"This is not a PHP problem. (I am using 4.3.6.) This is an issue with your web page : http://www.phpbuilder.com/manual/
I can no longer search for anything on this page. For example, if I enter "date" in the "search for" text box and click on "function list" in the adjacent list box, I get an error : 404 - file not found. It doesn't matter what function I search for, or whether I choose function, or the whole site. Same result. This has been an on going problem for me for about 3 months now.
However, if I enter the URL in the my browser's address bar as :
http://www.phpbuilder.com/manual/function.date.php
The page displays properly. I have no idea of why the search always fails now.
Thank you for any assistance you can supply."
I also saw some other complaints about this same issue, but nothing was resolved.
Ok guys, what's up with the online manual these days? It ain't much good if you can't even search it for function definitions. Nothing is wrong with my web browser, firewall or O/S either. I get the same results on my laptop, which is running Win XP.
